Dalit Freedom Network and The North East India Project
A Collaborative Exhibition
In the Main Gallery

Teams of volunteers will head to India this year and bring back over 70 pieces of art and artifacts from various villages in India.

This very unique exhibit intends to feature music recorded live in Yimjenkimong Village, Nagaland, India in October of this year, short docu-mini films made from past footage and new footage filmed in October 2007, presentations about Yimjenkimong Village, Nagaland, India by Ghani Zaman (partner of NEIP) and various educational evening programs about N.E. India, cultural problems, cultural "pros," how one can help, about life in a village, and more...

Dalit Freedom Network
The Dalit Freedom Network partners with the Dalits in their quest for religious freedom, social justice, and human rights by mobilizing human, informational, and financial resources.

North East India Project
The North East India Project strives to assist the villages of North East India to develop better self-sustaining communities, and to provide them with a hope for the future generations. The hope is to teach and provide assistance to these villages while preserving their culture and basic way of life.

A donation is encouraged and in return, all visitors will receive a clay cup™ or a bamboo cup .
